It is very useful for the gift world. It has both educative and entertaining value. But it is a cultural assault on developing nation too. Now let us discuss the uses and abuses of satellite television. It has brought about a change in communication. We watch the latest news on television. It helps us to know what is happening in the farthest corner in the world. It meets up our recreational demand. We watch movies, dramas, music, dance, sports etc on television. It has educative and moral value too. It is used for distance learning. For example; Bangladesh Open University runs educative programs on B.T.V informative programs are shown on numeral channels. The discovery channel and the National Geographic channel telecast informative programs. Television widens our knowledge. It helps us to be acquainted with the culture of different countries. It helps us to telecast our own culture and natural scenery all over the world. Thus we can attract foreign tourists. But it is a cause of anxiety for many. Some horror movies, obscene pictures, and cruel scenes are shown on television. These ruin the morality of the youngsters. These make them cruel and aggressive. These scenes greatly contribute to juvenile offences. Besides, our daily duties are neglected for it. The students are particularly harmed by it. Watching satellite television is addiction for many. It causes serious harm to our eyesight. For satellite television, our own culture, identity and tradition are getting effect. It is a bad sign for an independent country. In good, we can say that satellite television has a great importance. It should be used properly. Harmful programs are should be avoided. Only constructive programs should be enjoyed.

Bangladesh is a little country with growing problem. Among all problems, Price hike is a good one. The problem has spread its evil clutch all over the country. Price of anything are increasing day by day. People of fixed and limited income are suffering a lot. All are getting concerned with this problem. When price goes out of buying capability, It is called price hike. There are many causes behind it. The first and foremost cause is over population. The small country cannot manufacture enough food for its increasing population. Man-made crisis of commodities is another cause. Dishonest business men do it for higher profits. Business syndicate, smuggling and corruption are also depends on international market. Besides, anarchy and unawareness are responsible for it. The effects of price hike are many. Most of people are living under poverty line. So, their condition is becoming so miserable.Many of them have remain famished almost everyday. The poor children are leaving school in despair. There is no light of hope for balanced food. They cannot afford to buy any medicine. For price hike, the poor are becoming poorer. The problem of price hike is hindering overall development of our country. It is so horrible. We have to take some immediate steps to bring down price of valuable commodities. At first, we have to control our population. Food production must be increased as soon as possible.Dishonest business men must be punished. For keeping price under control, we need political stability.The government should import indispensable commodities for a stable market.Farmers should be given easy-loan to fabricate food.The government should store food to cope with any natural disaster. The government should also sell for essentials for the poor at a low price.
In good, we can say that price hike is a good problem. It should be solved at any cost. It is high time to solve the problem. Conscious people should work together with the government in this regard. Otherwise, we all slip into a good danger.

Tree plantation means planting more and more trees. We know that the tree is our best friend on the earth. It is essential for the environment balance. It is essential for our existence. We cannot live without it. We cut down trees for many reasons. We cut down trees to get up timber and firewood. We also use trees as our housing material. As a result our world is becoming tree vacant. Cutting of too many trees leads the world to desert. It is responsible for greenhouse effect. For this, man's ability to grow food is decreasing. Birds and animals are losing their habitats. Many of them have already been extinct. For too much heat, the polar ice caps will melt. Most of the parts of the world will be flooded. There will be no ecological balance. Thus the world will be unfit for living. The tree is one of the most useful gifts of nature. We cannot live without it the oxygen, a selfless gift of the tree. The tree provides us with timber, firewood and housing material. We get vitamins from the fruits of trees. The tree helps to keep the environment balanced. It prevents air pollution by taking carbon-dioxide. It helps avoid various kinds of natural disasters. It saves the world from turning into desert. It brings about rainfall. Thus, it helps agricultural production. It saves soil erosion. It keeps the soil strong . Thus, It saves the houses from breaking on the river. Besides, it is great source of medicine for us. Every person should plant trees, In every vacant space, trees should be planted on both sides of roads and embankments. Tree plantation campaign should be continued everywhere. Public awareness is essential to make campaign successful. We can say that we cannot live a single moment without trees. So, It is high time to stop cutting down trees. We should plant more and more trees for our existence. Both the government and the countrymen should come forward. The more we plant trees, the more we do good for us.

Bangladesh is a small country with growing problems. Among all problems, unemployment problem is a great one. The problem has spread its evil clutch all over the country. It is going from bad to worse. All are getting concerned with this problems. There are many cause behind it. The first and for most cause is over population. Her population is growing very rabidly. After independence, the population has been doubled. In respect of population, it is eighth largest country in the world. The country cannot provide this huge population with employment opportunities. So, many people fall into this problem. There are plenty of natural resources in our country. They are not properly used. This also create the problem. There are few mills and factories in this country. A small number of people are engaged there.Besides, every year two or three mills are closed due o economic loss. Thus the scope of employment is narrowing. Most people are illiterate. They are not involved in productive work. This another cause. Our educational system is defective. The present educational system is not fit for practical life. Professional and vocational training is absent in this system. Beside our students nourish a false sense of  self dignity. They are not keen to do manual labor. Rather they like to remain unemployed . There is no distribution of national wealth. It is also responsible for the problem. Some people think that everything is predestined by God. So, there is use of try. They like remain idle. The effects of unemployment problem are many. Drug addiction, kidnapping, snatching, traffic jam and various types of social crime result in unemployment. Economic depression is going to throughout the country. In the word, the country is lagging behind from all quarters for it. No prosperity is possible for it.
The following measure can be prescribed to solve the problem. Firstly all should be educated. Secondly, more and more mills and factories should be established. Thirdly, vocational training should be introduced in education. Fourthly national wealth should be equally distributed. Fifthly, we have to change our outlook to our fate. Sixthly, natural resources should be used properly. Last of all, the Government should take massive programmes to make an unemployment free Bangladesh.In fine we can say that unemployment problem is a great problem. It should be solved at any cost. It is high time to solve the problem. Conscious people should work together with the government in the regard. Otherwise, we all fall into a great danger.

Importance of Education

Education means the education, which helps human beings to become worthy citizens of the country. And such kind of education we obtain from school, collage or university. It is similar to the light. It removes obstacles and darkness of ignorance and helps us distinguish between right and wrong. Our education begins at home within our family. Whatever we learn in our classrooms. We want to apply it in our practical and day to day life. If we can apply it properly and 
 effectively our knowledge becomes supplemented. In this way our mental faculty develops. But if the bookish knowledge is contradictory to our practical life, the knowledge becomes useless. This types of education brings frustration. So, true education makes us useful to the society, develops our mind ,enriches our knowledge makes our thought ,makes us imaginative enhances our analytical power. That’s why illiteracy is a course because illiteracy is the hindrance to our development program. If all the people become educated, they will be able to overcome the obstacles of life. But our education system and the curricular do not provide opportunities to develop our mind, and knowledge. Which is essential for human resource of development?

Bangladesh is a small country in south-east Asia. It’s neighboring countries are India, Burma, Srilanka and Nepal. She got her freedom on 16^th December,1971 at the cost of supreme  sacrifice of many valiant sons. On that day we became free from the Pakistani rule. The ancient city, Dhaka is the capital city of Bangladesh. People of different religions live here. They are mostly Muslim, Hindus, Christians and Buddhists. People of different tribes also live here. As a result they observe different festivals like, Puja, Ei-Dul Azha, Christmas day, Pehela Baishakh etc. The county has a tropical monsoon climate. The country is eriss-crossed by so many rivers and canals. The main rivers of our country are the Padma, The Megna, The Jamuna, The Brahmaputra and the Karnafuli . The land of our country is plain and fertile. Jute , Rice, Tea, Sugarcane, Oilseeds, Fruit, Vegetable, Spices, Wheat, Potato, Tobaco and Cotton are the main crops of the country, Agriculture is the main occupation of the people here. The nature of beauty this green Bangla is the main attraction of the people. The cox’s bazaar sea-beach, The Sundarbans, The hilltracts of Rangamati and the tea gardens of sylhet are the chief attractions of this country. The country has some world heritage sites such as the Shat Gombuj Mosque of Bagerhat, Sundarban, Paharpur etc. After all people of Bangladesh are very much peace loving.

Natural calamity means natural disaster which is caused by nature. Every year Bangladesh   has affected by floods, cyclones, earthquake and drought. Recently, Tsunami also little bit has affected our country. The effects of natural the calamities beggar description. Floods hits our country during the rainy season when the re is excessive rainfall. Cyclone and drought occur in summer when the weather is extremely hot and dry. And earthquakes also   occasionally occur in our country. They cause heavy damage to our life and properties. Houses are destroyed, cattle are washed away, crops are greatly damaged and trees are uprooted. Thousands of people and other animals remain without food for many days. There are some reasons which cause these natural disasters. The burning down of forest and other environmental pollution create an imbalance ultimately leads to this types of natural disasters. To prevent these calamities we should plant trees and stop all types of environmental pollution. We should build embankments and safety centuries in the coastal areas. The governments and as well as conscious citizens of our country should come forward to prevent natural calamities.

Education is a part and parcel of our life. No nation can develop without education. It compares with light as well as our backbone. Education means mental and moral training. It clears off the darkness of ignorance from our mental horizon. It opens wide to our vision. it is a blessing

Education is a light to which everybody has the equal right. When god created men and women, he drew no hard and fast line of distinction between them. So education can not be an exclusive possession of any classes. Education should be universal. It should be imparted to both men and women, who form one half of the population.

There are, however, some people who are strongly opposed to the female education. They say that it is useless to impart education to women whose duties are confined to household affairs of children and ministering to the comforts of there male partners.

Women education is essential part for any nation. In half of the citizens will leg behind of any nation without education, the nation will not progress any way. There is a proverb “Without educated mother, you will not get educated nation. In future every woman should be a potential mother. Otherwise the nation will face a great problem and they will be a leg behind. The future of a child depends on how he or she is brought up and educated in childhood. In this aspect an educated mother is naturally expected to bring up and education her children better then an uneducated mother Social responsible should also be shared by man and woman.

It is only by imparting proper education to them that we can expect them to discharge the duties nicely and decently. In conjugal life a woman can extend a helping hand to her husband as well as her family by doing service out of home. An educated woman never confined to four walls. Now a day they become a decision maker in household matter. They are contributing to family income. These are the strongest points in favour of female education because are main object is to educate our woman systematically and carefully. The traditional system of education for girls should be changed. By this time, our government has taken measures to improve their education system.

In the concluding thought I opine that all steps necessary should be taken to encourage universal female education for the survival of our nation.
