The Boys and the Frogs
There lived some frogs in a pond. Some boys were playing around
the pond and said to each other. Let us throw stones at them. So they began to
throw stones at the frogs. Soon they killed some frogs and some were injured.
All the frogs were in danger. There was an old frog. It planned wise plan. It
puts its head out of the water and said, “Boys, why are you throwing stones at
us?” The boys replied. We are making fun only. At this the old frog said, what is
fun to you is death to us. The boys stop their funny games. They were ashamed
of this. Oh boys please, stop the cruel game.
Do not throw stones at us. Being repentant the boys stop throwing
stones.
Moral: What is fun to one is death to another.
